TESI was founded 1973 with the name of "Moderna Meccanica", from the ingenuity, competence and passion of its founder, Gabriele Punzo. As an Aeritalia employee, he began to dream of having a small business and set up a micro company, as if in a cellar, where he began, at the end of the working day, to devote himself to mechanical milling in the aeronautical field. He was driven by the desire to improve himself and to offer better perspective to his family.
Thus was born the MODERNA MECCANICA, that, one day, will turn into TESI. That year Gabriele was married with Annunziata and had four children: in addition to his commitment in the factory, he also made great sacrifices with his new business. Work kept him busy for most of his time, allowing just few affinity with the family but, thanks to Annunziata's self-denial, his children were able to grow up in a healthy and peaceful environment.
Gabriele couldn’t stop: his passion and desire of improvement nourished his "workshop" up to becoming a subcontractor for Aeritalia, a company producing components for aeronautics. In fact, in those years, the favourable economic situation and the boom in orders from big companies, feed the entire Neapolitan territory with the birth of various subcontractors, which became, over time, a real aeronautical district. This allowed the subsequent growth of the companies, that are still working today. TESI's adventure begins in that context..
Our present
The present of TESI is characterized by a strategy based on a verticalized production model (aluminium - titanium - steel alloys), on in-house special processesand on the training of highly qualified personnel: thanks to these actions, TESI achieved a status of high efficiency in terms of costs, quality and optimization of deliveries with a consequent high financial sustainability.
The development of new technologies and innovations allows the diversification of markets and customers, the expansion of the field of action and strategic business areas, objectives achieved thanks to our Ideas’ Workshop.
